Curious Questions

Moving therapy allows your body's energy to freely express itself without the interference of the mind's interpretation. Memories stored in the unconscious mind carry an energetic imprint that can be challenging to access and release through traditional mental processes. Trying to process these memories with the mind may unintentionally reinforce the associated energy. Moving therapy provides a direct pathway to release stored energy in the body and nervous system, bypassing the complexities of language, storytelling, and logic.
Scientifically, this approach aligns with the understanding that energy of our memories are stored in our subconscious, and direct how we live everyday. Without using the conscious mind as the access point, we move toward revealing the stored energy of the unconscious. Our movements and expression of that energy give the opportunity for that energy to be released.

There is no agenda to the movement. It is not intended to be a workout.
-
It will look however your body needs to move to express what it has stored inside. Because of this, there is no way to predict the look of the movement.
It may be big, bold movements, or it may be stillness.
There is no right or wrong.

This is a practice.
At best practice, it will be a profound unwinding of your energetic body.
At worst practice, you will have a potent space to practice listening and get some movement in.
