Unfortunately as a registered counsellor, medicare does not cover my practice. However, if you qualify for medicare through a mental health care plan, I allocate a certain number of slots per year at the upper end of the medicare rebate rate. Note this is only available when booking 4x and 8x sessions.

Some private health insurances do offer cover for counselling, it's best to check with your provider.

Traditional psychology often focuses on insight and cognitive understanding, talking through experiences, analysing thoughts, and identifying patterns. While these things are not absence from my practice, I take a more holistic approach and seek go beyond analysing cognition. I find this depth to be particularly important when it goes to working with those who have encountered developmental trauma and emotional neglect.

I attune to the subtle somatic and energetic cues that show what’s happening beneath the surface, this provides a much quicker and deeper level of understanding and then, as seen fit move into experiential processes where those patterns can truly shift.

When I use the word “energy,” I’m referring to what’s alive in your body (the sensations, impulses, and emotional charge that shape how you feel and respond). Working at this level moves us beyond talking about your experiences to working on and with them in real time.

The goal isn’t only understanding, it’s helping you access and embody your truest self. By the end of our work together, you’re not just managing symptoms you have more terminology for, you have less pressure in the body and a clearer connection to your authenticity.
