Psychodynamics

Psychodynamic therapy is foundational to most of psychology practice today. Its helps uncover your hidden drivers, unravelling the unconscious rules that are guiding your life, decisions and patterns, most often without your conscious awareness. Together, we explore the meaning you’ve made of the experiences you’ve had and how those meanings have formed your unconscious drivers. Through intentional conversation, we trace these threads back to their roots. It’s detective work for your psyche. Unlike bandaid solutions, psychodynamic therapy offers profound self-understanding, the kind that brings real relief, because you finally see that everything about you makes sense.

IFS/Parts Work

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is rapidly becoming one of the most highly regarded therapeutic modalities (and for good reason). The approach acknowledges we all have different parts or aspects of our personality. In therapy, we identify and understand how your parts interact, often uncovering protective patterns that formed during times of stress or trauma. The goal isn’t to remove or silence any part, but to help them work together in a more balanced way. As these parts begin to trust the leadership of the most radiant and authentic Self, reactivity decreases and a greater sense of internal harmony develops.

Somatic Therapy

Somatic therapy is a body-oriented approach to healing trauma and other related conditions. It works from the understanding that trauma imprints are found in the body and nervous system, not just in cognitive memory. Addressing these body and nervous system imprints on a neurobiological level is imperative for truly overcoming the ghosts of traumatic experiences. As the body moves out of ‘stuck’ trauma responses, self-regulation can take place, and emotional patterns linked to the trauma begin to ease. The process supports the restoration of safety, relief, and more space for the authentic self. 

Life Design

Life design is what I refer to as intentionally designing your life to naturally produce more of what you desire. It is the process of creating a life that complements your authentic energy and natural way of operating. It helps you understand how you’re uniquely wired and develop practical daily systems that support your uniqueness and help you succeed. We combine the most evident foundations of habit formation &  energetic alignment principles. This is a profoundly beautiful stage to arrive at after deep healing work, ensuring you’re not only healed, but thriving.

Your First Session ($190, 60-70 minutes)

We'll explore the patterns you're noticing in your life and understand what brought you here.

You'll leave the first session with:

  • Clarity on whether this approach feels right for you

  • A sense of being truly heard and understood

  • Initial insights into your protective patterns

  • Tools and a clear plan for moving forward

Ongoing Sessions ($190, 60 minutes)

Most clients work with me weekly or fortnightly, depending on your goals and needs and what your life allows. My clients typical journey is 6-12 months, some stay longer, some shorter. We follow what your journey needs. This isn't quick-fix therapy, we're doing deep, transformational work that deserves time.

In ongoing sessions, we:

  • Work with your parts (IFS) to understand protective patterns

  • Address trauma stored in your body (procedural memory) through somatic interventions

  • Explore foundational beliefs formed in childhood

  • Build your capacity to feel, regulate, and be present

  • Integrate insights into your daily life

Private Health Insurance: Some private health funds provide rebates for counselling services. Check with your provider if you have extras cover, many clients claim up to $80 per session. Please note Medicare rebates do not cover counselling in Australia.

Payment: Payment is required at the time of booking via secure online processing.

Cancellation Policy: 48 hours notice required for cancellations or reschedules, otherwise the full session fee applies.

Format: All sessions are conducted via secure telehealth (video). This allows you to access specialized trauma therapy from anywhere in Australia, in the comfort of your own space.

Scheduling: Book directly through my online calendar. I offer appointments Monday to Friday.

Between Sessions: You'll have email support for brief check-ins or questions. This isn't ongoing therapy via email, but I'm accessible if something urgent comes up.
