Client Describes
- Dissonance from emotions, needs, values and wants.
- Poor self image.
- Anxiousness.
- Feelings of pressure.
- Difficulty with relationships and closeness.
- Feeling broken or that they are defective.
- Feelings of emptiness that prevails despite success.
- Self-abandonment patterns.
- Can give love and support, but don’t receive it.

Traditional Therapy Has Been Ineffective
- The source of the problem seems indistinguishable, despite symptoms being very real.
- The therapeutic cycle goes like this: Interventions to manage symptoms client describes → temporary relief → pattern returns/return to baseline.

They Present
- Both perfectionistic and turbulent.
- Often overly self-aware.
- Symptoms of developmental trauma
- Difficulty with interoception and affect identification
- Insecure attachment style.
- In environments, relationships and situations that perpetuate hurt.
- As if they’re missing something fundamental and are frantically searching for it.
